Building a Better Trail Future in Cody: STC Hosts Sustainable OHV Trailbuilding with National Experts
This past weekend, the Cody-based Shoshone Trails Coalition (STC) partnered with Park County Pedalers to bring national-level trail expertise to our local recreation community. On July 26th and 27th, Jason Wells of Sasquatch Trails, representing the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC), visited Cody to lead a hands-on workshop focused on sustainable trail building for safe and responsible off-highway vehicle (OHV) use.

NOHVCC recently wrapped up another successful Great Trails Workshop in Alberta, Canada, held June 29–30. The event was made possible through collaboration with Jason Wells of Sasquatch Trails and Craig Harriott from the Forestry and Parks division of the Government of Alberta.

2025 MN Great Trails Workshop A Success
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), in partnership with the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC), recently hosted a Great Trails Workshop at the Snake Creek Management Unit in the Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest in southeastern Minnesota.
