NOHVCC Great Trails Workshop Helps Shape the Future of Horsethief Recreation Area, Montana
A recent NOHVCC Great Trails Workshop at the Horsethief Recreation Area near Roundup, Montana, brought together trail professionals and recreation managers to help shape the future of one of eastern Montana's most promising off-highway vehicle (OHV) destinations. Hosted by the Montana Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and funded by the Right Rider Access Fund, the workshop combined classroom instruction with hands-on trail planning and design in the field.

Penrose Great Trails Workshop Successfully Completed After Numerous Delays
After more than a year of planning and several postponements due to federal staffing changes and government shutdowns, the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) was finally able to host a Great Trails Workshop at Penrose Commons Recreation Area near the beautiful community of Cañon City, Colorado, in May 2026.

Thanks to funding provided by the Right Rider Access Fund, the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC), in partnership with the Northwest Motorcycle Association, successfully hosted a Great Trails Workshop in the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District near Randle from April 29 through May 3, 2026.
