The 2023 NOHVCC Annual Conference is fast approaching, and we know that means that many of you are preparing for the mobile workshop portion of the conference. This year we will be staging the mobile workshop out of the Archery Range Parking Lot at Wasatch Mountain State Park on October 12, 2023. There will be a shuttle departing from the Zermatt Resort at 8:15 am for those who need a ride to the mobile workshop. The staging area is approximately 10 minutes from the hotel.
We will be holding educational sessions about the Utah OHV Program, OHV sound and technology, and the partnerships that help manage the trails in the area. We will also be holding a side-by-side tour of some trails in the area. The trails in the area are in steep mountainous terrain so if you’re not comfortable with that kind of riding you will need to ride with a more experienced rider rather than drive.
Every participant will be REQUIRED to complete the FREE OHV Education Course. While this course discusses on-road use, the NOHVCC does not support this type of travel. There will be no use of OHV’s on paved roads during the workshop. Once you have completed this, please send a copy of your certificate to [email protected] or bring copy with you to the registration desk at conference, you will then receive your wrist band to attend the mobile workshop. We will have several other waivers for you to sign prior to the mobile workshop.
Anyone riding in or operating an OHV must have a helmet, gloves, goggles, long sleeved shirt, long pants, and over the ankle boots in order to participate. All participants will be checked prior to departing from the staging area.
This is going to be a fun event where you will experience fun trails and fantastic view of the Heber Valley. We look forward to seeing you all on October 12.
