Thanks to funding from the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation – OHV Program, NOHVCC will be leading two OHV training workshops to educate and benefit the state’s off highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts, OHV club members, land managers, and other OHV stakeholders. These trainings will be focused on the development of sustainable trails and trail partnerships. All trainings are dependent on COVID-19 related regulations and meeting size requirements. OHV’s will not be required to participate in this workshop. Precautions have been taken to allow social distancing during the classroom portions of the workshop.
The Utah Division of Parks and Recreation – OHV Program in conjunction with the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council, and Ride with Respect, will be conducting two free OHV trails workshops in Richfield, UT on October 10-11, and October 13-14, 2020. These two-day trainings will consist of classroom sessions at the Quality Inn Richfield I-70 located at 540 S Main Street, Richfield, UT 84701. Field sessions will be held at Fremont Indian State Park, 3820 Clear Creek Canyon Rd, Sevier, UT 84766. Field sessions will involve walking to various sites on the trail system so bring your best hiking shoes, appropriate clothing, and drinking water. Lunch will be provided for registered attendees during classroom and field sessions.
Discount Camping will be available to workshop participants at Fremont Indian State Park. Those who wish to camp can make reservations with Fremont Indian State Park at 435-527-4631.
