NOHVCC’s webinar series continues– join us on March 19!
Title: Trails Move People – Articulating the Impact and Amplifying the Voice of the Trails Industry
The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) and American Trails will work in partnership to discuss how trails have been taken for granted and the true measure of their impact has not been calculated or shared.
The Trails Move People (TMP) Coalition hopes to highlight these many tangible and less apparent benefits of trails. To do so, TMP brings together a diverse cross section of the organized trails community. It is made up of trail-oriented national non-profit organizations, member organizations and other organized trail advocates. TMP also recognizes the success of trails nationwide is contingent on the input and advice from land managers, industry representatives, state and local clubs and others.
Join Mike Passo and Duane Taylor for a discussion of how we can all work to break down the silos within the trails community, and what we can do to build support for trails in unexpected areas and among unexpected constituencies. The reach of trails on American lives is vast, and TMP hopes to elevate the recognition of trails so that everyone irrespective of geography, mode of recreation, socio-economic status or experience will have access to more and better trail opportunities and in turn more fulfilling personal experiences.
