Thanks to funding from the Fox Factory Trail Trust Program NOHVCC will be hosting a Great Trails Workshop at the Walker Valley OHV Area just outside Mt. Vernon, WA. This two day workshop will focus on the layout, design, maintenance, and management of OHV trails. All sessions will be held in the field. The intended audience is land managers, riders, and volunteers who love and maintain OHV trails. The focus will be on identifying trail issues and coming up with solutions through group discussion. Registration spots are limited so please register early using the link below. NOHVCC would like to thank the WA Department of Natural Resources, the Skagit Motorcycle Club, and the Northwest Motorcycle Association for their efforts in bringing this workshop to the State of Washington.
Workshop participants will be walking to different trail locations so bring your best hiking boots. Participants must also provide their own transportation to the workshop site, as well as their own food, drinks and appropriate clothing for the season and climate. An OHV will not be necessary for this particular training, but participants are encouraged to check out the trails after workshop sessions.
