NOTICE: Start time has changed to 9:00 AM on September 24th.

The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) in conjunction with the Utah State Parks OHV Program, the US Forest Service, and the US Bureau of Land Management, will be conducting an OHV trails training workshop in Lehi, UT and Spanish Fork, UT on September 24-26, 2019. The 3-day workshop will consist of classroom sessions on September 24, at Cabela’s in Lehi UT starting at 9 AM, and field sessions on September 25-26 on the Diamond Fork OHV trail on the USFS Spanish Fork Ranger District. The use and management of all off-highway vehicle types will be discussed during the workshop. The Spanish Fork workshop will accommodate 4WD rigs, but some of the discussion spots can be reached more closely by a 50″-wide machine during the field sessions of the workshop (on the Diamond Fork trail system).

Participants should bring OHVs for use on the trails and for moving from site to site during the field sessions. Everyone who operates an ATV or dirt bike, or drives or rides as a passenger in a ROV (side-by-side) during the workshop must wear a helmet, goggles, gloves, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and over the ankle boots. Field sessions will involve walking to various locations so bring your hiking boots, appropriate clothing and field gear, lunch, snacks and drinking water.
