The NOHVCC 2024 Annual Conference is fast approaching, and final details are being worked out. If you have not registered, you still have time to do so. Please see the list below about important information:
- There is still time to register for the annual conference here.
Our room block is nearly full at the DoubleTree by Hilton Park Place in Minneapolis, if you haven’t already secured a hotel room do so now here. (State Partners traveling on a Partner Grant who have registered for conference already have had reservations made for them). - Make sure to download the WHOVA app off of the App Store or Google Play. This is where you can find necessary documents, get updates on the conference, learn about the speakers and presentations and much more.
- There is no shuttle service from the airport to the hotel or to return to the airport. You will need to book a taxi or ride share (Uber or Lyft). Those of you who are traveling to conference on the partner scholarship will be eligible to have your transportation costs reimbursed if you send your receipts to [email protected] after the conference.
- We will be leaving the host hotel each day to hold sessions at the Polaris facilities about 30 minutes away. We will not return until the sessions have been completed. You will need to bring any clothing, medications, gear, etc. with you in the morning.
- Polaris facilities are secure, and you have to be let in to the building. We ask that you remain in the portions of the building open to attendees for the conference.
- Please do not take pictures outside of our conference activities at the request of our hosts.
- You are expected to ride the arranged shuttles from the hotel to the conference facilities. There is limited parking for extra vehicles at the Polaris facilities.
- Those of you participating in the mobile workshop on 10/17/24 will be granted access to secure areas and proprietary information. You will not be allowed to take pictures during these portions of the workshop.
- Make sure you have signed your release forms prior to the mobile workshop. We will be reviewing this during the check-in process. This can be found on the document section of the WHOVA app.
- Don’t forget your safety gear for the mobile workshop. This includes helmets, gloves, goggles, over the ankle boots, long sleeved shirts, and long pants. You will not be able to participate in the ride portion of the workshop without your safety gear. Limited helmets will be available to borrow but be aware you may be sharing these with other people.
- There will be a welcome reception for all conference attendees on Thursday October 17th at The DoubleTree by Hilton Park Place at 6:00pm. We welcome all attendees to join us for a chance to get to know other conference attendees and visit with old friends.
- Friday, October 18th dinner is on your own. We encourage all of you to visit local restaurants in and around the DoubleTree by Hilton. There are numerous restaurants within a very short walking distance.
- The NOHVCC annual banquet will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Park Place on October 19th at 6:00pm, please join us for dinner, discussion, and recognition of the great work you are all doing in OHV recreation.
- Please bring any brochures, documents, or swag you feel would be helpful when shared with other OHV enthusiasts and managers. We will have a table at the conference and banquet for you to share these items.
- NOHVCC will not be hosting an auction this year, however NOHVCC does have NEW swag that will be available for purchase during Friday thru Saturday’s activities.
We look forward to seeing all of you in Minneapolis in a month. If you have any questions please feel free to send an email to [email protected].
