T
o receive the benefits of liability insurance from the AMA and ATVA a club must become chartered with either one of the organizations.
AMA/ATVA Promoting Club Charters are able to sanction their events with AMA/ATVA. Insurance for AMA/ATVA sanctioned events is available through the AMA/ATVA at a low premium. At no cost to the club, AMA/ATVA supplies many of the forms, etc. necessary to hold a sanctioned event.
A good start to gaining information about chartering and sanctioning with AMA/ATVA would be to review the AMA/ATVA Club and Promoter Kit information on their website. From the AMA home page www.AMADIRECTLINK.com , click on “Clubs & Promoters” located in the blue shaded area on the left or click here for a direct link to the Clubs and Promoters Page.
