NEWLY RE-DESIGNED NOHVCC BOOTH DEBUTS AT CYCLE WORLD INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOWS

Local NOHVCC representatives and supporters man booth at seven different venues throughout the country

The re-designed NOHVCC booth now features the ten primary panels from the Adventure Trail.

For the past several years, the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council has had a regular presence at the popular Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows which are held near major metropolitan areas throughout the country. Last year's series saw over a half million motorcycle and ATV enthusiasts attending the 12 shows. Typically, the NOHVCC sets up a booth and dispenses information on our organization, other land-use organizations and OHV educational and training programs, as well as local information on clubs, state associations and where-to-ride guides. Lots of families attend the IMS shows so these events are also a perfect place to show off our Adventure Trail panels in our re-designed booth and pass out Adventure Trail Activity Books.

This year the IMS tour features 13 stops, seven of which NOHVCC will be participating in. "In past years we've always had at least one or two of the NOHVCC staff

in attendance at each show with assistance from our local representatives and supporters," explains NOHVCC Communications Director Steve Casper. "For 2005-06 we're trying something different by having the booths manned exclusively by NOHVCC folks from the area the show is being held in. This works out great in two ways; our overhead costs for attending is cut considerably, and the local NOHVCC reps manning the booth can better address the many questions regarding local issues that always pop up at these shows."

Following is a list of the IMS shows that the NOHVCC will be present at and the folks who are generously helping to get the job done (a complete list of all13 shows is at the end of this article).

The last year’s series boasted a attendance of over 500,000 people who turned out to see the latest innovations, trick products and useful services offered at the professional exhibits and showcase displays.

The series is supported by leading manufacturers: Aprilia, Buell, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Piaggio, Suzuki, Ural, Vespa, Victory and Yamaha.
