Workshop Programs

The workshops incorporate both indoor and outdoor sessions, including speakers, field demonstrations, and hands-on activities designed to provide you with the tools you need to manage your OHV program effectively.

Webinar Series

If you don't have the resources to bring the NOHVCC team to your location, you can still get much of the information that is presented at the OHV Management and US Forest Service Travel Management Rule workshops by attending a webinar.  The webinar sessions range from explaining the US Forest Service Planning Process and how to work with a Land Manager to explaining who an OHV recreationist is and how to design a sustainable trail where they will want to stay on the trail.  You get the benefit of interacting with a presenter without the need to travel.

Rider Training Courses

Know someone whom you would like riding?  Here is the best way to get them going.  There are All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and Off-Highway Motorcycle (OHM, dirt bike) rider education courses available.  Your companions, children, spouse, etc will learn how to ride the correct way from a trained instructor.  Imagine all of the arguments this can save!  There are also advanced rider training courses to help you get that edge.

Review by for Rating: For angeig corner blasters like myself(53) who have slowed a bit and often ride two up on longish trips, Rider is an excellent magazine. It's new bike tests are reliable and low on hype. It's columnists often muse about the riding experience and its relation to our broader lives. It has plenty of how to features and my two decade collection of tours and destinations featured in Rider is keeping me pleasantly busy in retirement. A good down to earth, mature, magazine.

I love that sweater with the short shorts, tights, and boots. You're the second blogger I've seen rocking that particular look, both of you very differently. It makes me want a big hand knitted sweater. (Hmmmm, maybe I can press my mother in law into service?)Heather Fonseca recently posted..

Thanks Heather! I'm obsessed with big, chunky knits. Hopefully one of these days my knitting skills will improve so I can make one myself, but until then I have an incredibly talented grandma to thank. xo
