Workshop Programs

NOHVCC Workshops bring nationally-recognized experts to your location to address your specific local needs. The workshops incorporate both indoor and outdoor sessions, including speakers, field demonstrations, and hands-on activities designed to provide you with the tools you need to manage your OHV program effectively.

Webinar Series

If you don't have the resources to bring the NOHVCC team to your location, you can still get much of the information that is presented at the OHV Management and US Forest Service Travel Management Rule workshops by attending a webinar.  The webinar sessions range from explaining the US Forest Service Planning Process and how to work with a Land Manager to explaining who an OHV recreationist is and how to design a sustainable trail where they will want to stay on the trail.  You get the benefit of interacting with a presenter without the need to travel.

Video Podcasts and DVD

Our videos take the information from our workshop and webinar series and put it into video format.  The information is broken down into several videos that can be either ordered as a DVD or viewed on-line at a time that is convenient for you.

Cartoon Sharing TrailsAdventure Trail Posters, Activity Books and CD-ROMs

An interactive youth program that features trail ethics and safety messages in a fun manner. The books, posters and CD-ROMs are available to any OHV group, dealer, or land management organization that wishes to utilize it at their events or dealerships.

Rider Training Courses

Know someone whom you would like riding?  Here is the best way to get them going.  There are All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and Off-Highway Motorcycle (OHM, dirt bike) rider education courses available.  Your companions, children, spouse, etc will learn how to ride the correct way from a trained instructor.  Imagine all of the arguments this can save!  There are also advanced rider training courses to help you get that edge.

This is one raoesn why people get in the fierce term-vs-perm debate. People want coverage that will be in place when they die, even naturally of old age, but they don't want to pay for it.Term policies are priced the way they are because they are designed NOT to pay a death benefit, which is why only about 1% do. If you're playing roulette, you place your $ 2 bet on a number, and that number hits, you win $ 70. If you want to win $ 70 on a red/black bet, you'll need to put $ 35 on the table. Life insurance works the same way, but the odds are even more skewed. If you buy term, your probability of it paying a death benefit is about 1%. If you buy whole or universal life, the probability is 100%.If you want something that absolutely will pay out a death benefit, permanent coverage is your only option. If you're concerned only about a guaranteed level premium, choose whole life. If you want either the minimum premium for your coverage, or a more efficient use of your cash value, then universal life (standard or variable) is what you need. This did not answer the question you posted, but it probably answered the relevant question.

I'd like to see more ultra atrlcies on here. I'm training to run my first ultra (a 50 miler) in October, and it's hard to find the specific information on ultras you can find on marathons. Good article.

You are so right.Truth is whitin, and all that which is outside of us is illusion. Reptilians, greys, and such, are all stage props to create a false reality and act as a decoy to keep us focused on the outside, and to keep us from looking inwards..

Melinda, I am not sure but I am going to guess it is at least 75 years old. It's surrcttue, and the beams are very similar to ours, so it's a relatively educated guess. Thanks Natalya, glad you are keeping up.
